She recently made the semi-final round at a casting call for the upcoming The Apprentice: Martha Stewart reality show. "I love to work with my hands and I am meticulous," Patton said. "I applied because I love a challenge and I wanted to put my creative and domestic talents to the test." Patton grew up on a 135-acre farm in Smith Grove, Ky., where her dad taught her about gardening, preparing crops and the "how to" of managing a farm. "My dad taught me how to grow the apple tree," Patton said, "but my mom taught me how to turn the apple into a delectable apple pie." www.nashvillecitypaper.com Archived: June 06, 2005
